Vrikshasana (The Tree Pose)

Vriksha – Tree; Asana – Posture or Pose

The asana is vrik-shah-sa-na. Vriksha means tree. Stand on your left leg, bend your right leg and place your right foot on the root of your left thigh. Stand like a tree standing on the ground. This is Vrikshasana.
